Inspiration

So about that outfit post.. It turns out that yesterday there were 3 rugby games on so I was down a photographer. Outcome? No outfit post. I also want to make sure that I only put quality photos on my blog from now on instead of ones from my iphone, so I have a little bit of practicing to do (that and the fact that I realized I don't really have any clothes at the moment and definitely do not have any cash to go shopping, again 'growing up problems').
I thought I would make this post about people who's style I admire and take inspiration from.

Brunette

I've already said that I change my mind and my look alot. But last night I took the plunge and my friend and I dyed my hair a deep mahogany brown with red and purple tinges to it. It was a very messy and at some points a hilarious experience but I think we did okay. I've never had such dark hair before and it's a very dramatic transformation I didn't recognise myself in the mirror this morning! Now I'm busy thinking up how to maximise my new look with makeup and clothing choices. Looking forward to experimenting with this one! I'm currently taking colour inspiration from Christine Centera, Miroslava Duma, Jessica Alba & Rachel Bilson.

Okay I have to cut myself off now, so many options to explore! I will try and do an outfit post tomorrow. Hope everyones having an amazing Saturday!!

Contrast

I change my mind alot. I switch styles, change my hair, my look, my whole persona more often than people change their underwear.. no okay thats a joke but it is very frequent. I went platinum blonde shoulder length about a month ago (pictured below) and next week im doing balayage.

I love the contrast between the light & bright....

And the dark and sultry....

I forever change my mind about everything, and that's one of the things I love about fashion, how easily you can switch it up and how you can change your entire look and express how you are feeling just by changing your clothes.

Hiatus

So it's been a while since I've blogged, I just felt like it had become something that I hadn't originally envisioned it to be. So I decided to take a step back and stop blogging for a while to reassess what I wanted this, my creative outlet to be. I wanted my blog to say 'this is me, this is what I am about'. I want to share with you, my readers my perspective on things, my ideas and eventually hopefully my creations. My goal is to inspire people and to share my fashion & styling influences, my inspiration and my vision. So please bear with me as I begin the changes to make this blog what I want it to become, and as this is a fashion/inspiration blog I would not feel right to not include some pictures in this post. Here are some pictures that have been inspiring me lately.

As you can see, I am currently loving the loose pant look. And the Céline Resort 2013 pants in the last picture are to die for (but way out of my price range)!!! Loving these pants from Australian Label Camilla & Marc but as a bit of a shorty have to see how I go!

This amazing Stylestalker dress as seen on The Voice Australia, blogger Friend in Fashion (pictured) and Selena Gomez. Size 6 only worn once and in perfect condition. I don't have a good quality picture of myself in the dress and at the moment it is in Melbourne while I am in Townsville. Selling for $100 or nearest offer.

At the graffiti wall

I wanted to find a different backdrop for my photo's even though the sun, beach and palm trees never get less beautiful I wanted to mix it up a bit. Yesterday we went to this AMAZING graffiti wall more in town and further away from the beach.

I wore a plain white tee from Bardot, Friend of Mine army jacket, All About Eve denim shorts and leopard print ballet flats. The necklace I picked up in a coastal town a couple of months ago a bit further south & the sunglasses were a bargain from Romwe but it does take absolutely ages to get your order!!! It was a bit windy so most of the photos we took have me trying to keep my hair out of my face or blowing across my face so these are the pick of the bunch.

The Strand

Yesterday my boyfriend and I spent the afternoon at the The Strand. It is SO beautiful, pictures cannot even compare to the actual experience so if you are ever in Townsville this is the place you MUST visit.

The water was crystal clear and it really is like a drop of paradise. It was a bit windy so hard to take photo's I wore a little EllyM shift dress that my mum picked up in Sydney and just some random accessories. Hope you all had a good weekend!!

Date night

Last night was date night and my boyfriend and I went to the local pub which has the most amazing scenery, I took these on my phone so sorry about the quality!

I decided it was the perfect location for me to get some outfit shots in, so we went back this afternoon (also because my boyfriend wanted to put a bet on the footy win - win situation).

It's almost like a little piece of paradise, sometimes you forget you are just down at the local pub.

I've never ridden one but my boyfriend LOVES harley's so of course when he saw this one I had to get a picture with it.
