Summer Inspiration

Okay so it's officially summer in North Queensland, (even though technically it's still winter) so I can only imagine what summer is going to be like!!! This summer I'm looking for bold colours, print, but with a boho gypsy vibe. Channelling my inner Mary Kate Olsen & Nicole Richie.

Tidbits

I am so amazingly busy today & the internet is a bit dodgy (took me 2 hours to upload those 4 photos) so I don't really have time for a proper post. Here are 3 small tidbits.

1. It is SO hot even though it's still winter, it's time to bring out the bikini!! (reminder: start working out) here are a couple from seafolly that I love.

2. A gorgeous friend of mine Fen from back in Melbourne who coincendetly was the person who really got me interested in fashion, recently started her own blog and it is AMAZING! I highly recommend checking it out. http://mydressupbox.blogspot.com.au/ 

3. Check out this pencil skirt from sportsgirl... remind you of anything?

Opinions on the sportsgirl skirt? Is it lack of creativity on their part or are they just trying to make a coveted print a little bit more affordable for us cash challenged people?

Date night

Last night was date night and my boyfriend and I went to the local pub which has the most amazing scenery, I took these on my phone so sorry about the quality!

I decided it was the perfect location for me to get some outfit shots in, so we went back this afternoon (also because my boyfriend wanted to put a bet on the footy win - win situation).

It's almost like a little piece of paradise, sometimes you forget you are just down at the local pub.

I've never ridden one but my boyfriend LOVES harley's so of course when he saw this one I had to get a picture with it.

Baby, in the summertime

Had a pretty relaxing day today, went to the local hairdressers to get my toned and planning my new look!! Also went down to see some nature late this afternoon it is so beautiful up here! I haven't had a chance to get the camera out yet but once I do, lots more scenery pictures!

I'm wearing a silver/purple depending on which light your in metallic mesh top from sportsgirl, friend of mine 'edward' shorts with a tiny flower pattern & clear glitter jellybabies which I cannot believe I ever stopped wearing so comfortable!! My lovely boyfriend took these photos of me goofing around in the park (it's not hard to find a picture of me goofing around I was doing the robot and sprinkler dance moves while making coffee this morning). I'm trying really hard to learn the rules of Rugby but just not quite there yet haha! Hope everyone is having a fantastic week! Especially you lucky bloggers in Sydney at Fashion week! xx

Double Denim

Today it felt like summer was back!! Beautiful weather, here is what I wore.

Sorry about the bad picture quality i have the WORST camera (it came free with a laptop and only stores 15 photos says it all really)!!! I wore denim shirt from Elwood, denim shorts from Friend Of Mine and Tony Bianco lace up wedges. Hope you all enjoyed the sunshine xx

Take a bite out of the arctic chill

Today is so much more cold than I am used to, the winds are blowing through here from the Arctic so here are a few pictures to take everyone's mind off the cold. I am counting down the days till I go back up north.

Outfit of the Day

Today is one of those days its hot but then its cold and then its hot again, typical Melbourne weather. Since Summer has only just ended i decided to make the most of it and go for a very summery outfit. The silk floral scarf around my head was the perfect accessory to try and hide my bad hair day (we all have them).

Yep lazy sunday no real makeup required sorry for being such a lazy blogger. The dress is the 'gunslinger dress' in lilac by Australian label 'Friend of mine' which is a favourite label of mine, and of course blue suede Jeffrey Campbell lita's. I have no idea where the sunnies are from i found them while i was walking to my front door just sitting there so i popped them on. Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!
